Okay, I need to talk about this one. Iron Abyss doesn’t even have its full release out yet and people are already making videos about it. Not a sponsored key, not a press event — just someone who played the demo and had things to say.
The Video
YouTuber Young Jiraiya sat down and walked through the v0.1.2 combat overhaul — the patch that reworked how fights actually feel in the demo, back when the game was still figuring itself out pre-launch:
If you tried an earlier build and it didn’t quite click, watch this before you write the game off. That v0.1.2 patch is genuinely the “okay wait, this is actually good” moment for a lot of people, and there’s something about hearing it from a fan mid-playthrough instead of a dev-written changelog that just lands differently.
Catch Up Before Launch
Everything this video covers is still in the current demo, plus a bunch more that’s shipped since — updated tutorial, new art and intro sequence, the full cinematic story build. If you’re not caught up, now’s a good time.

Iron Abyss launches August 11, 2026. If more fan videos like this pop up before then, I’ll be rounding them up here.
